Sitecake for Claude

Build and publish a real website from a conversation. Sitecake's MCP connector lets Claude create a site, write its content, and publish it live at a *.sitecake.net address — then the site's owner keeps editing it afterward in an ordinary browser, no code required.

Add the connector

In Claude, go to Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector and enter:

https://sitecake.net/mcp

In Claude Code, add it as a remote MCP server pointed at the same URL. Either way, connecting triggers Sitecake's own sign-in — no separate API key to create by hand.

Signing in

Sitecake accounts are passwordless: enter your email, get a one-time code, done. If the email is new, an account is created automatically on first sign-in — there's no separate "sign up" step. Once signed in, you approve the connection and Claude can start building.

Example prompts

The content model

A Sitecake page is a flat set of named containers: a section of HTML marked class="sc-content sc-content-{name}". Only what's inside a container is editable — layout, navigation and footer stay fixed. Containers can't nest, and names must be unique, lowercase letters/numbers/hyphens. Supported content is text, images, a gallery (class="sc-gallery"), and YouTube/Vimeo embeds — no file downloads, maps, or multi-page navigation yet, and this is a single-page site model in v1.

Editing afterward

Every site has an editor URL a human can open in a browser and use directly, with the same account that signed in to Claude — no separate login for the site owner to learn. Handing off a site is just sharing that URL (or the live URL and a login) with them.

Limits

Disconnecting

Remove Sitecake from Claude's Connectors settings at any time. You can also revoke the connector's access from Sitecake itself — sign in, open your account settings, and delete the "Claude connector" API key; the connection stops working immediately.
